Anne Farrisee has been with The Georgia Trust since April 2007 and become Director of Development in September 2008. Anne was the State Capitol Historian for 15 years, during which she co-authored Democracy Restored: A History of the Georgia State Capitol. She has served as Executive Director of Easements Atlanta and the Atlanta Preservation Center, and worked several years for the Historic Preservation League of Dallas (TX). Anne has also worked for the Historic Preservation Division of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources and the Atlanta History Center. She has a Master's degree in Heritage Preservation from Georgia State University and her undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Virginia.
Born in New York, Farrisee has lived in Atlanta for more than 30 years and resides in the Virginia-Highland neighborhood with her husband, two teen-aged children, and two dachshunds
